A drone designed for aerial surveys and 3D mapping
The Phantom 4 RTK is designed specifically for surveyors and incorporates a new real-time kinematic (RTK) system to maintain accurate positioning and provide survey-quality data. With this model, DJI has reimagined drone technology from the ground up, revolutionizing its systems to set a new standard in drone accuracy – offering Phantom 4 RTK customers centimeter-accurate data while requiring fewer ground control points.
Next generation mapping with Phantom 4 RTK
The Phantom 4 RTK sets a new benchmark for drone accuracy, providing users with centimetre-precise data. Thanks to the new RTK module, greater accuracy of image metadata is achieved with centimetre-level location data. The flight controller, camera and RTK module are continuously synchronised by the new TimeSync system, which also ensures that each photo uses the most accurate metadata.
Flight planning application
The new GS RTK application makes flight planning easy with two planning modes – photography and waypoint flight – and a more traditional flight mode. Pilots can select the drone’s flight path while setting elements such as speed, altitude and camera parameters. The app also has a number of features, such as a high wind alert that warns pilots of adverse weather conditions.
D-RTK 2 mobile station
The Phantom 4 RTK is complemented by the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station, which provides real-time differential data to the drone and helps to compile the most accurate data for surveying and mapping.
Accurate imaging system
The Phantom 4 RTK can move while shooting without the risk of blurring the rolling shutter. Thanks to its high resolution, the Phantom 4 RTK can achieve a ground pattern distance of 2.74 cm at a flight altitude of 100 m.
